  Call on our first night after been told by hotel most places stop serving food after 7pm other than Chinese or Indian or chippy . We google and found this pub from the street it looks closed however it's just having a restaurant built up stairs . We found they serve food until 8.30 it's was very busy and had a wait for food has the cook every order freshly but omg it is totally worth it I had a pork and apple burger with sweet potatoes fries was massive and beautiful hubby had the chicken and bacon and that was beautiful too plenty . Well worth the money and visit

  Recently called here for something to eat. I chose chicken wrapped in bacon with dophinoise potatoes and cauliflower and broccoli. My friend chose beer battered burger with chips, onion rings and coleslow.
  WOW. The food was absolutely delicious. They were large portions, cooked to perfection, reasonably priced and average waiting time for food to be served.
  I personally would highly recommend this place for a meal. There were lots of people eating and quite a few tables reserved which suggested that people came back again.
  I would definitely eat at The Commodore Inn again. Friendly staff, goid atmosphere and fantastic food. Good choice of beers too.
  Well done to the chef.
